Genesis 1:26 – 26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
John 1:1-3 – 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
John 17:24 –24“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
I think many people confuse themselves of where Jesus started out. He didn’t start out a baby from Mary. Our Lord and King helped create us.
Jesus was snuck into this world as a baby. He has always been sinless from before He came into this world until now seated at the right hand of the Father. Man can’t handle that and that’s why you get movies like the Last Temptation of Christ, etc. He was born of a virgin to skip the sinful gene that is passed on from Man.
He’s not a just a great teacher, He’s God in the flesh. That’s what He said Himself.
John 14:7 – If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Man wants all roads to lead to Heaven because he doesn’t want to be told what to do. Also the Devil is confusing people, because he is fully aware that Jesus is the only way for redemption.
God makes the rules and the rule is man needs to recognize himself as a fallen sinner and needs to repent and needs forgiveness. He shed His own blood. It’s the only thing to cleanse one’s sin and the price cost God all, and for man the gift is free.
